We propose in this essay to enter the disciplinary field of pedagogy to understand what it is, what it deals with, what is its importance in everyday life and especially in school practices.
We propose a political ethical position that places us in a critical perspective that allows us, on the one hand, to continue problematizing the educational field and, on the other, to reaffirm the importance of the teaching role as a transmitter and passer of culture.
