LA EDUCACIÓN ANTITABÁQUICA EN LOS JÓVENES UNIVERSITARIOS: UNA NECESIDAD EDUCATIVA

Abstract

The investigative practice carried out by the author in the municipality of Manzanillo, allowed detecting the existence of difficulties in the process of educating young people, by distinguishing in them the lack of knowledge related to the negative effects of tobacco on the body, the existence of false beliefs in relation to its benefits and negative family influences that condition a positive attitude in correspondence with its consumption.

This allows the development of an educational strategy to promote anti-smoking education in young people in the 1st year of the Preschool career at Blas Roca Calderío University; from the use of scientific methods such as: Analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, observation, interview, survey and mathematical procedures such as percentage calculation, to theoretically base the investigation and diagnosis of the main difficulties presented by the young people under study.
