The purpose of this scientific study was to determine the influence of personal motivation factors on interpersonal relationships in teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences UNFV 2021.
This research is of an explanatory level, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, carried out in the Faculty of Sciences Social Sciences of the Federico Villarreal National University, with a population of 68 teachers from the 3 Professional Schools of Social Work, Communication Science and Sociology to whom questionnaires were applied; one for each variable.
Six basic steps were considered for hypothesis testing: 1) Specify the hypothesis (null hypothesis H0 and alternative hypothesis Ha); 2) Choose a level of significance (Also called alpha or α); 3) Determine the power and sample size for the test; 4) Collect the data; 5) Compare the p value of the test with the level of significance and, 6) Decide whether or not to reject the null hypothesis.
The result obtained shows that there is statistical evidence, with a risk of 5% and 95% reliability, to affirm that personal motivation factors positively influence interpersonal relationships, confirming that personal motivations contribute to the strengthening of daily work interaction.
