Abstract

The objective of this article is to propose a framework of analysis for the Facebook group "Son historias de Moreno" to demonstrate the forms of participation that social networks allow and their link with the construction of a collective memory.

In this space, a community has been created that shares and disseminates the history of Moreno, allowing residents to learn more
about their city and promoting the preservation of its historical heritage.

It is an example of how the Internet can be used to produce knowledge collectively.

The participatory culture, according to Jenkins, has been transformed thanks to the possibilities offered by digital technologies.

Likewise, they will realize that hyper-mediatization is creating another society, driven by the new forms of circulation of meaning, since there is no way that it does not affect it and does not reconfigure it (Carlón, 2019).

In this framework, images become important, producing conversational practices and uniting people with the same interests.
