TRILCE Y LO “NUEVO” Y LA MAGIA DE LA CREACIÓN EN LO VANGUARDISTA

The objective of this essay is to investigate the contribution to universal literature of the Latin American avant-gardes and the conception of ‘new’ that is present in their aesthetics through the analysis of a representative work of these kinds of movements: Trilce by Cesar Vallejo.
To this end, we will address formal, stylistic, contextual and philosophical features of the Peruvian author’s book. Furthermore, we will use a comparative literature approach to think a very influential publication in relation with other artistic manifestations.
We understand it is necessary to recognize that it is a special time characterized by the attempt to do something different to make a simple product of the historical traditions and constant changes.
We identify its similitude with the effort for reaching the magic of the creation trough the word which is present in a great number of cultures.
