REORIENTACIONES SOBRE EL DERECHO A LA EDUCACIÓN: LINEAMIENTOS SOBRE LA EXPANSIÓN INSTITUCIONAL EN LA ARGENTINA RECIENTE
Keywords:
Education, Right, University, Government, Educational policyAbstract
Since the beginning of the 21st century, the focus on the right to education and its link with the idea of justice provide a particular way of guiding education.
Through a bibliographic and documentary review, this article is a contribution to identify the main conceptual axes that precede this approach, and then to account for the main regulations and emerging educational policies in recent Argentina that are linked to these paradigms.
It is concluded that the approach to the right to education that emerged during the Kirchner and Fernández governments was reflected in legal, budgetary and programmatic initiatives linked to an inherited inclusive logic that characterizes the Argentine university system. In this sense, the educational reorientations during the Macri government received strong resistance that accounts for the historical significance of an educational system linked to the proliferation of higher education houses in their free condition, towards the democratization of these institutions.
